SURVIVING COVID: ONLINE WELLBEING MODULE FOR EDUCATORS
This FREE online module for educators includes 6 short videos that explain the core principles of overcoming crises such as CODIV-19, explained in detail by a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Hayley Watson, who specializes in trauma. The videos also contain clips of real students sharing their own experiences of COVID, in order to provide teachers with clear examples of the difficulties arising during this crisis, and pathways for overcoming these challenges.
In the videos below, experts in the fields of medicine, psychology, counselling and social-emotional learning, were filmed to provide insights related to social-emotional learning (SEL), mental heath and indigenous practices for educators. Each of the expert videos will have an accompanying Video Summary and Discussion Guide, which are still under development.
Most of the expert videos are associated with a number of school-based videos demonstrating examples related to the topics discussed by each of the experts.
